KOTOR Remake: Jennifer Hale Confirmed to Return As Bastila Shan
Jennifer Hale will return to her role as Bastila Shan in the newly announced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Alongside the first teaser trailer for the KOTOR Remake, an official blog post was made on the Star Wars website. The lead producer of the remake, Ryan Treadwell, said, “I can confirm that is Jennifer Hale” referring to the voice heard in the trailer. In addition to that, Treadwell mentions that fans might get to hear some “familiar voices return”. Although he did not go into further detail as to who they may be other than Hale.
Treadwell went on to praise Hale and her work, saying, “We all think the world of Jennifer. She is an amazing talent”. Adding onto that, Treadwell mentioned that Hale easily transitioned back into her role as Bastila when she came in to work on the teaser trailer for them.
Jennifer Hale‘s Other Credits
Other than the work Jennifer Hale has done as Bastila, she is possibly most known as the voice of female Shepard in the Mass Effect Series.
Along with an upcoming appearance in No More Heros 3 as Kimmy Love. Hale has appeared in many games that players might not have realised. Playing characters such as Galadriel in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Naomi Hunter in the Metal Gear series, and Pheonix in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
The blog post also mentioned many other details about the remake other than the return of Jennifer Hale such as their development credits and ethos. In addition to how they intend on keeping the game as true to the original as possible.
Announced as a PlayStation console exclusive, it is unknown if it will release on PC or eventually make its way onto Xbox. On top of that, with no official release date yet, players will have to sit in anticipation for a little while longer.
