Just in case you still haven't had your fill of the abundance of God of War fan art, here's a little more to whet your appetite.
As you all will know very well, the sequel to God of War is making its way to the PlayStation 5 this year, apparently. So far, we've seen a very short teaser for the next installment of Kratos at the PlayStation PS5 Showcase last year which really got the juices flowing among fans. Since then we really haven't heard too much on the sequel other than a very barebones clip. In anticipation of the impending God of War 2, we have some Kratos fan-art that will make you wish the game was in your hands right now.
The brilliant artist Çağlayan Kaya Göksoy from Antalya, Turkey has yet again blown us out of the water with his unbelievably creative pieces of art. You may remember Göksoy from that mind-blowing illustration of God of War's Kratos upon his throne and this time, he wows us yet again with another Kratos piece. As you can see, the mightily Kratos is standing right in front of a terrifying Dragon as he holds his beloved weapon by his side; tracing the shallow water he stands in. I'm fairly sure the gigantic Dragon-like beast doesn't know what is about to come of it as it's sure to meet a bloody and painful farewell.
I can't wait to dive into the God of War sequel and with incredible fan art pieces like this, I have high hopes that it will be just as amazing as my first experience with Kratos and Arteus in 2018's God of War.
We should get some more news and maybe even a release date for the yet unnamed sequel soon as we tentatively await its arrival this year on PS5. If you have no idea what all the fuss is about, God of War is available exclusively on PS4 and you can pick up a physical copy from Amazon right now.
