Kratos Joins the Bloodsport in Mortal Kombat

By Kenneth Richardson

December 8, 2010

The upcoming entry in the popular and rated M fighting series Mortal Kombat will feature an exclusive treat for PS3 gamers. Kratos, from the critcally and commercially successful God of War series will be a playable character. Of course, given the exclusivity of that series to Sony consoles, Kratos will only be available in the PS3 version of the game.

Reportedly he will feature an exclusive skill set and a God of War themed stage. This kind of content will clearly color a preference for gamers with multiple consoles because a similar exclusive character for the Xbox 360 version of the game has not yet been announced. Mortal Kombat is expected to release early next year for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
