Kung Fu Panda 2 Will Be Available for Kinect, Plus More in May
THQ has announced that they will be releasing Kung Fu Panda 2 on Kinect for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, uDraw GameTablet for the Wii and the Nintendo DS. On the Kinect, you will have the opportunity to become Po and use your kung fu skills against a new evil enemy. Po will teach you key kung fu moves; blocking, dodging, punching and kicking your way with no controller across various new terrains and environments.
“Kung Fu Panda 2 brings enormous innovation and creativity to build on the excitement of the movie,” said Mary Beth Haggerty, THQ’s Vice President of Product Development, Kids, Family and Casual Games. “The team brought unique elements to each platform so players can have a different experience with the same great story.”
THQ’s uDraw GameTablet for the Wii will allow you to control Po with your stylus in Story Mode. In drawing mode, players will color various pieces of character art and objects which will populate the story mode. In the Nintendo DS version of Kung Fu Panda 2, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a card game called “Five-Card Fu” with a friend or by yourself.
Kung Fu Panda 2 fans can sign up for “training” through online videos and mini-games by visiting the game’s official website throughout the months of April and May. You’ll be notified by e-mail when you sign up that a new video and mini-game is available. Expect to see Kung Fu Panda 2 in stores this May.
