Rumor: Lady Gaga Might Be in Cyberpunk 2077

According to French website ActuGaming, the singer Lady Gaga has been spotted at CD Projekt Red studios and has participated in a mocap performance

Lady Gaga can literally turn her hand to anything – the talented singer, songwriter, and actress from New York recently became the first person to have won an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA and Golden Globe within a single year. We also know that Gaga enjoys a spot of gaming too having tweeted a few times from her official Twitter account about how much she enjoys playing Bayonetta at 4 am in the morning, but could she also be a fan of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, so much so that she has got herself some kind of part in the title?

According to French website ActuGaming, they have stated that a source of the studio has witnessed Lady Gaga at CD Projekt Red Studios and that she did a mocap performance while there so she would be involved with Cyberpunk 2077 in some way, although they couldn’t disclose in what capacity. Of course, at this time, this is a complete rumor – neither Lady Gaga nor CD Projekt Red Studios have confirmed anything, but a previous tweet by the studio set the rumor mill spinning when they replied to one of Lady Gaga’s strange tweets from 2012 with a cryptic  “Of course! Of course, we will!” leaving fans wondering what’s going on?

If it is true and she was at the studio, it could also possibly mean that she may have recorded a song for the game – although, I think it would be amazing if she was included into the game-play in some form as I think she would fit into the futuristic-synthetic world of Cyberpunk 2077 very well due to her flamboyant and creative attire. As for now, only time will tell if this rumor will indeed manifest into something more and who knows, maybe Lady Gaga could even make an appearance at E3 since CD Projekt Red have confirmed they will be attending – now that would be a show-stopper!

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in development on consoles and PC, though at this time there is no set release window or date for the game. In the meantime, you can prepare for the game’s release by pre-ordering the game on Amazon.
