I'm literally tearing up as I write this article. The Langrisser series is one of my favorite of all time, and the tease from a few days ago finally evolved into a reveal.

Some thought that it could be about the usual mobile game, but it is not. It's a full remake for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

If you're unfamiliar with the Langrisser name, the strategy JRPG series debuted on Sega Mega Drive all the way back in 1991 and then came to the west as Warsong, it then evolved into a ton of games for several platforms.

The remake will be developed by Charani, with the supervision of Kadokawa Games. While the original character designer Satoshi Urushihara won't return, the art will be handled by Nagi, who many know for the Ar Tonelico series.

On the other hand, original composer Noriyuki Iwadare will reprise his role. Iwadare-san worked on a metric ton of very relevant titles like the Lunar series, the Grandia series, and many more.

The game will include renewed gameplay as well as graphics, but it'll stay true to its strategy JRPG roots. It doesn't yet have a release date.

Now you can just leave me alone, crying like a schoolgirl at an airport's bar. No. I'm not exaggerating. What a time to be alive.
