Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei Releasing July 23rd in Japan; More New Info This Weekend

April 1, 2015

Earlier this year it was announced that there was to be a new entry in the long-running Langrisser series and that it would be releasing on the Nintendo 3DS.

Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei will be releasing on the 3DS in Japan this summer, more specifically – July 23rd. Of course that means very little to most people, but for those who intend on importing the title from Japan it’s somewhat good news.

The Langrisser series haven’t really seen much success in the West due to the lack of localization. Seriously, it’s a shame that the last Langrisser game to officially release with an English translation was back in the days of the SEGA Mega Drive.

There’s not really much know about the upcoming tactical RPG, but it’s thought that the title will shift away from its usual setting and take on a more sci-fi vibe. More information will be made available this Saturday during a live stream which will feature appearances from some of the voice talent behind the game as well as one of the series producers.
