Lara Croft Gets a New Voice

By Kenneth Richardson

December 28, 2010

Karl Stewart for Crystal Dynamics has revealed via his Twitter Account that a new voice actress has been pursued to portray Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series reboot. While no details are available on this actress, we can confirm that it is neither of the multiple actresses who’ve conveyed Lara in the past.

I find that a little odd considering some of them have done some awesome jobs in older Tomb Raider games. This change of Lara’s “voice” seems symbolic for the significant series reboot and change in the series dictation. Here’s to hoping this change is for the better.
