Laser League Getting Another Closed Beta this Weekend Before it Hits Early Access in Early 2018
Roll7 and 505 Games' Laser League will have another Closed Beta this weekend (December 15 to December 17) before it comes to Steam Early Access in 2018.
Roll7 and 505 Games announced today that they will be holding another Closed Beta for their upcoming multiplayer game Laser League this weekend, from December 15 until December 17. In addition, a super informative trailer was released for the game which goes over almost every facet of gameplay.
The last Laser League Closed Beta happened back in October, though this one does differentiate itself by including brand new maps and party play for easier matchmaking. It will still only feature the 3v3 mode like the last beta, though. For more specific times, the beta will run from 10am PST on Friday, December 15, until 9:30am on Sunday, December 17. The recommended peak play time for the beta by the developers is 4pm to 5pm PST on December 17.
As I mentioned before, we also received a brand new gameplay video that delves deep into the details of Laser League’s mechanics. In short, players must attempt to knock out their opponents by getting them to run into lasers that are opposite of their color. To do this, there are a variety of different classes, special abilities, and power-ups players can use. We also learned that the game has been pushed back to an Early 2018 release on PC, which makes sense as they are still currently in the Closed Beta Phase.
You can check out the new gameplay video below. Laser League is set to launch on Steam Early Access in Early 2018. If you want to hear DualShockers’ thoughts on the game, you can check out our impressions from what we played at E3.
