The Closed Beta or "Field Test" for Roll7 and 505 Games' upcoming fast-paced multiplayer title Laser League began today, so the developers put out a new trailer to celebrate. Players can still sign up for it through the game's website, as the beta will run until 7pm PDT on Sunday, October 29.

505 Games and Roll7 decided to hold a Closed Beta, which was announced earlier this week, for Laser League so they could test out the game’s servers and find what they need to balance; this will help shape future development as the game heads towards entering Early Access on Steam.

The new trailer gives a very quick general overview of the gameplay. Players can choose from a variety of different classes in teams of one, two, or three (the Field Test only contains 3v3 matches). The teams must then try to knock out all of their opponents, either by using some class abilities or knocking them into a laser of the opposite team's color. DualShockers had the chance to try out the game at E3 this year, so you can check out our full thoughts about the game in our preview.

You can check out the new gameplay trailer below. Laser League is set to enter Early Access on PC later this year and will come to PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2018.
