Last we reported, Laser League was getting a beta, which is in full swing right now. Today, 505 Games has kept the hype from the beta rolling by announcing two things: An Early Access date and a price.

Laser League will be hitting Steam Early Access on February 8, 2018. During this time, the game will be $14.99. Early Access games sometimes go up in price after they reach full release, but no such announcement has been made so far.

The game puts the players in a Tron-like arena, where the goal is to knock other opponents out by getting them to run into lasers that are opposite to their color. Players can have a multitude of classes and special abilities employed at a time to achieve this. There are also power-ups available in the arena that can turn the tide at a moment's notice.

The game is certainly unlike any other sports games out there, making it a unique experience. DualShockers actually had a chance to give it a try, which can be read in our preview of the game at E3.

The open beta is going on right now and is available to everyone on Steam from now until Sunday, January 28 at 19 PM PST. Laser League will launch on Early Access on February 8, 2018 for PC.
