on December 5, 2016 10:28 PM

Today The Last Guardian Releases in Japan and North America, and the Japanese arm of Sony Interactive Entertainment decided to celebrate in a rather special way.

A sculpture representing Trico and the boy was commissioned to the famous Swedish ceramicist Lisa Larson, and will be on display at her Christmas exhibition at the Hankyu Umeda Gallery in Osaka between December 7th and December 12th. After that, it will be displayed on December 15th at a special exhibition at the Matsuya department store in Ginza, Tokyo.

If you aren’t in Japan, but you’re still curious, you can see two pictures of the sculpture at the bottom of the post.

For something a bit more traditional, a TV commercial also started to air today on Japan’s TV channels, featuring another adorable look on the boy and his giant fluffy companion.

You can check out the commercial below, and if you want more, you can enjoy a series of nostalgic trailers released in the past few days. There are five in  total and you can watch the first the second, the third, the fourth and the fifth.
