Following the announcement of The Last Guardian VR Demo for PlayStation VR during the opening presentation of PlayStation Experience, Sony Interactive Entertainment released a press kit including the first batch of screenshots.

Of course, the screenshots, that are explicitly said to be captured on PS4 Pro, focus on the real star on the experience, which is the majestic and ultra-cute Trico.

The Last Guardian VR Demo¬†is a fully standalone experience, and it’s also pretty short. You should not be tricked by the fact that it’s defined “demo” because Sony has no plans to expand it into something bigger.

It’s compatible with the DualShock 4, so PlayStation Move is not needed to enjoy this one. Of¬†course, you’ll need PlayStation VR, as this doesn’t work with the console by itself.

The experience will be free, and downloadable on the PlayStation Store on December 12th. It’s certainly a cute little Christmas gift from PlayStation to its fans, and considering that Trico kind of looks like Falcor, and The NeverEnding Story is the perfect Christmas flick, I’d say it’s appropriate.

You can enjoy the screenshots in the gallery below.
