Though there are many beautiful shots in The Last of Us Part 2, one fan got a wholesome moment tattooed onto them as a lasting reminder.

Many moments in Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us 2 have left players speechless. From Joel’s murder to its revenge-fueled ending. But beneath the thick layer of death, rage and revenge, TLOU2 has some really beautiful scenes that have been etched in our memories forever.

One of those places, in particular, is during The Winter Visit chapter when Abby finds Owen in the lobby area at the Aquarium. To remember this scene, one TLOU2 fan has had it tattooed onto their arm in a beautiful tribute.

For those who have played the game, this scene will have stuck in your memory as it is so wonderfully well done and it’s all down to two whales and some gorgeous lighting. In the middle of the subtly lit Aquarium where Owen has made a home for himself, lies a huge model of a humpback whale and its calf that take up the majority of the room.

It’s such a tranquil moment of peace and serenity in the midst of all the chaos that is going on in the game so it’s of little wonder why this particular scene touched so many players, just like the Joel and Ellie scene space capsule at the museum.

Naughty Dog’s official Twitter account posted a picture of the tattoo stating “Thank you for sharing this stunning piece with us!”. Unfortunately, Christine who got the tattoo done, wasn’t tagged but hopefully, they get to see their wonderful tattoo up in lights! Principal Environment Artist at Naughty Dog, Anthony Vaccaro, reposted the tweet saying how speechless they are that someone took the art they created and got a tattoo of it.
