Following the latest trailer of The Last of Us Part II, revealed at Sony Interactive Entertainment’s pre-Paris Games Week press conference, the house of PlayStation released a few additional screenshots of the game.

The screenshots, which are in full 4K resolution, showcase those who appear to be completely new characters appearing in the game, in a grim and fark environment that perfectly fits the atmosphere of the series.

Interestingly, a disclaimer in each screenshot clearly clarifies that they were captured on a PS4 Pro, so pretty much what you see is what you’ll get, keeping in mind that the scene will probably be tweaked further before release.

You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see and learn more, you can check out today’s new trailer, the debut teaser trailer from last year, a new and charming music theme created for the game,  and the impressive performance capture tech being used. The Last of Us Part II will release exclusively for PS4, but it still does not have any release window.
