Just ahead of Halloween, developer Elastic Games has announced that the asymmetrical multiplayer horror title Last Year: The Nightmare will be holding a closed beta period this upcoming weekend.

The closed beta will kick off on Friday, November 2 at 5:00 PM EST and will last until Sunday, November 4 at 3:01 AM EST. This will be the first time that Last Year: The Nightmare has been playable in a public setting of this manner, not counting various events and conventions.

To enter for a chance to enter the closed beta for yourself, head over to the official Last Year: The Nightmare website and follow the steps provided on the page. If you receive a code, you'll then be able to redeem it in the Discord Store for access this weekend. For those unaware, Last Year: The Nightmare will be a launch title through Discord and the app's new store service, hence why you'll need to redeem your beta code over there.

Even if you don't end up getting into this weekend's closed beta, then fear not, as Elastic Games is still planning on launching Last Year: The Nightmare before the end of 2018.
