Nearly two months after its closed beta, Elastic Games has finally revealed the initial release date for the asymmetrical horror multiplayer title Last Year: The Nightmare.

After a long wait for many fans, Last Year: The Nightmare will finally launch two weeks from today for PC on December 18. As was previously announced, it will launch as a Discord Store exclusive title, meaning that you'll have to purchase it through the messaging app's recently launched storefront.

In addition, Elastic Games announced that they still have major plans for Last Year: The Nightmare moving into 2019, the most notable of which includes releasing the game on home consoles. As of now, it hasn't been announced just which platforms they plan to bring the title to, but you'd have to imagine PS4 and Xbox One will be likely, with Switch in consideration as well.

It's definitely good to see that the game is finally ready to launch and even better yet, that Elastic Games was able to stick to their release window of 2018 as was promised.
