Latest Black Ops Patch for PS3 Hits Hard

By John Colaw

January 25, 2011

The latest patch for the PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty Black Ops went live early this morning, and as patches are wont to do has addressed a lot of issues. Ranging from the relatively small (having bots use your friends names in Combat Training is fixed), the necessary (several freezing and connection issues) and the gameplay changing (changes to the AK-74u, Second Chance altered). Maybe this will curb all this “boycott” and lawsuit talk from the fans that feel they’ve been wronged.

But then again, it’s the internet so probably not. Check out the Black Ops PlayStation 3 forums for a full list of fixes.
