Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn finally made its long-awaited debut on PC earlier this year. The game is, as expected, beautiful to see on a beefy rig; however, many players have been having various stability issues, which causes the game to crash. Guerrilla’s first patch dropped a few days ago and was a decent first start. And now, the team has a follow-up that addresses even more issues.

Of course, this patch doesn’t fix everything. Given the current global pandemic we’re currently living in, it’s going to take more time than players might be used to. With teams still working from home, workflow was always going to take a bit of a hit. That said, Guerrilla has done an admirable job to keep up the hard work and get players updated builds at a steady clip.

Horizon Zero Dawn‘s patch 1.02 fixes several major crashing issues and makes improvements in a number of different areas. Plus, the team continues to improve its bug reporting system. That means it’s much easier for players to get the devs the necessary information to replicate bugs and fix them. If you want to check out the full patch notes, check them out here.

While everything is not yet perfect in Horizon Zero Dawn, it’s getting there. Slowly but surely it’s becoming the high-quality product we all expected. If you haven’t jumped in yet and want to see what all the hubbub is about, Horizon Zero Dawn is available now on PC and PS4. With a sequel on the way, now seems like the perfect time to hop on the bandwagon.
