What a terrific day for deal-oriented PC gamers. Earlier today it was revealed that Ubisoft's Happy Playdays event would be extended, letting gamers download Assassin's Creed IV: Black FlagWatch Dogs, and World of Conflict for free on PC. Now, Humble Store has revealed that Bloober Team's 2016 horror game Layers of Fear (and its official soundtrack) will be available for PC free-of-charge.

Downloading the game from Humble Store will give you a Steam code for Layers of Fear, which can be played on PC, Mac, and Linux. That said, make sure you grab the games soon -- as of the publishing of this article, you only have 46 more hours to grab the deal.

For those who haven't heard of Layers of Fear, the game made waves in the survival horror genre last year for its portrayal of madness and investment into psychological horror. Players take control of an artist trying to complete his masterpiece, only to watch his house and world twist around him in horrifying fashion.

While this deal is only for the Steam version of Layers of Fear, you can also grab the game for PS4 and Xbox One. According to an announcement earlier this year, the horror game will be coming to Nintendo Switch "soon" with the Inheritance DLC packed in. Meanwhile, developer Bloober Team continues working on other horror games -- notably Observer which released earlier this year.
