Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy will receive a western release on the Nintendo 3Ds this October from Level-5.

The console version of the game will feature mechanics and systems not present on the iOS and Android version, which launched July 20 worldwide. Players will play as Katrielle Layton who sets forth into London to take on the mysteries and adventures that await. Headstrong to make a name for herself and not only bank off her family's name, Katrielle must discover clues and interrogate suspicious civilians in order to solve the case.

The story will focus less on dynamic problem-solving and more on solving multiple mystery cases observed in the everyday lives of Londoners, which will bring a faster tempo and more comical tone to the series. The gameplay will use comical elements and new ways to approach situations which allows Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy to stand out when compared to other titles in the Layton franchise.

The current iOS and Android version of the game is available for $15.99 with in-app purchases that aren't required to complete the game.
