Mad Max Lead Level Designer Talks About the Open World on PS4

Hollie Bennett from Playstation Access talks with the Lead Level Designer about the upcoming open world PS4 title, Mad Max.

Max Mad originally came out as a movie in 1979 and chronicles the protagonist as he survives in a post apocalyptic world. According to the designer, it’s the grandfather of the apocalyptic world genre and is an IP still relevant today.

The game features very detailed vehicle combat, with weapon, ramming gear, tires and armor upgrades available for your ride. In the world of Mad Max, survivors band together and form strongholds, which consists of shelters that serve as a barricade to protect the inhabitants from danger. This is important because the protagonist needs to form alliances with these survivors in order to obtain information, repairs and jobs. Check out the entire video posted below.
