The relationship between League of Legends and Nike has been established for a few years now, but now, this crossover is about to culminate in a new product that will surely have sneakerheads salivating.

To coincide with the start of Worlds 2020, which is the annual League of Legends tournament that is set to kick off later in September, Nike and the Jordan brand have crafted a pair of Air Jordan 1 Zoom shoes to tie-in with the event. The shoes primarily boast a blue and white color scheme and are meant to resemble the Summoner's Cup, which is the trophy that is awarded to the winner of the World Championship each year. You can get a full look at the AJ1 model in the featured image above.

While it's a bit hard to tell how this model looks in standard lighting, the color really seems to pop in all areas. I think what I like the most is how the Nike Swoosh seems to get progressively dark as it reaches the heel of the shoe. Perhaps, again, that's just the lighting of this sole image that has surfaced, but regardless, the sneaker itself looks clean.

For now, there's still not a lot that we know about this AJ1 and League of Legends shoe. A release date, price, more official images, and even a wide-scale release have yet to be announced. That said, with Worlds 2020 set to kick off on September 25 and slated to last until October 31, we'll surely be hearing more about these shoes soon. And whenever they do drop, I'll surely be in a virtual queue to snag 'em, because I'm a huge dork.
