With the release of Season 4 Reloaded, new game code has been discovered indicating that planes will have weapons in Call of Duty Warzone

Earlier in the week, we reported that dataminer Zesty had found in-game code indicating that planes will be coming to Warzone, with the possibility of them as a part of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s reveal event.

However, what the community was not expecting, was for planes to be equipped with weapons.

LEAK REVEALS PLANES WITH WEAPONS IN WARZONE

When the first leaks started to appear, it was believed that the planes would be nothing more than a transport vehicle, like how the helicopters act in Warzone today. However, a new find by Zesty shows that might not be the case.

The newly discovered code shows “bullet_large_airplane”, which not only hints at weapons coming to planes but could indicate that several types of weapons will be available to pilots or passengers.

Unfortunately, the code does not show whether planes will be a part of the Warzone reveal event or not, but it is safe to say that the developers have something special up their sleeve for Vanguard

WILL PLANES BE OVERPOWERED??

One of the biggest questions that is being raised by the community, is whether planes with weapons will be overpowered in Warzone. After all, this would be the first time an air vehicle will be weaponized in the game.

Of course, passengers in helicopters can shoot their weapons in Warzone, but giving the ability of a pilot to shoot weapons could change up the game's meta for good.

The change is likely to be a big one, but without any other details being revealed, we will just have to wait and see to know how big of a role the new plane vehicles will have in the new Warzone map.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is rumoured to have its in-game reveal event in August, so we might now have long to wait to see what the developers are cooking up.
