As we reported over the past weeks, NetherRealm Studio's Ed Boon has been making waves with a bunch of cryptic posts on Twitter hinting to an announcement being made on June 2nd.

While nothing has been made official, earlier today an image of a mysterious poster made its way onto Xbox One subreddit.

In the poster below, it showcases the all too familiar spine and classic dragon logo which all fans know to be associated with Mortal Kombat. 

Could this be proof that an upcoming Mortal Kombat game is to be announced at E3? Who knows but one does wonder.
