Left Alive’s Latest Trailer Finally Puts the Spotlight on the Characters and Story
After a long period without any new information, Square Enix has finally been showing off Left Alive once more at events like Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show. Still, the trailers released haven’t really delved much into the story and character; fortunately, today’s new Left Alive trailer changed that.
This trailer mainly focuses on the game’s three playable characters, all of whom were designed by Metal Gear artist Yoji Shinkawa. Those characters are Mikhail, a Ruthenian staff sergeant, Olga, a Police Captain trying to keep the peace in the war-torn city of Nova Slava, and Leonid, an ex-rebel on the run after being sentenced to death for a murder he didn’t commit.
While their plots all start off separate, they will slowly start to intertwine through Left Alive. If you want to learn more about this unique continuation of the classic Front Mission franchise, you can check out our full interview with the game’s Director. Left Alive is poised to release on PC and PS4 in the west on March 5 after hitting Japan on February 28, and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. While only PC and PS4 and currently slated, the Director Toshifumi Nabeshima did tell DualShockers that Square Enix may consider bringing the game to other platforms after its initial launch.
