Square-Enix have recently registered "War For Nosgoth" for what must be a Legacy of Kain-related game. There has been hearsay for a while that Square Enix was looking to bring back the franchise, maybe even reboot it to give newcomers a fresh introduction to an overly convoluted narrative.

OXM [via VG247] reported on an artist this morning named Richard Buxton, whose Linked Profile and online portfolio pointed to an "animation pitch" related to the Legacy of Kain series. The storyboard itself has since been taken down, it seems, but we obtained a copy of it which you can see below.

As a longtime fan of the series (who happens to be replaying the first Soul Reaver game on his Vita) it'd be great to get the franchise up and running again, streamlined and refocused.
