Nintendo fans around the world have been in for an exciting few days with the curtain finally unveiled on the Nintendo Switch and one of its most anticipated titles, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild having officially been revealed as a launch title, with the game's European box art showing a different (but no less striking) take on the open-world that awaits players.

A report from Eurogamer showcased the official European box art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which offers a stark contrast to the sunset-lit box art that North America will receive for the game's release, but still offers a great idea of the huge, open-world that the title will bring to the series in this installment. The full image of the European box art can be found below, while you can click here for a closer look at what's in store for the North American version.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was officially confirmed as a Nintendo Switch launch title during last night's presentation by Nintendo, which revealed the system's full price, several of its upcoming titles, and more. After several delays in the past year, Nintendo's presentation confirmed that the title will release on both Nintendo Switch and Wii U to coincide with the system's release in March.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release for Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3rd, 2017 - in the meantime, you can check out the official European box art for the title below:
