The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s First DLC The Master Trials Shines in First Gameplay Footage

Nintendo shows off the new DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Switch and Wii U, The Master Trials.

During its Treehouse coverage, Nintendo showcased the first actual gameplay of the upcoming DLC of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, titled The Master Trials.

We get to see the the sky platforms, which are basically floating platforms holding treasures and enemies to defeat, new gear for link, a meeting with a Korok and more.

Interestingly, we also get a look on the new Hero’s Path mode, which basically tracks your route and all you do in the past 200 hours or gameplay.

The video then shows the Trial of the Sword, which takes everything you have in order to let Link prove himself worthy of the Master Sword. Normally the sword is at its full splendor only in very limited circumstances, but once you pass the Trial of the Sword, Link will be deemed worthy, and the sword will hold its full power all the time.

The Master Trials rill release very soon, ion June 30th, while a second DLC, titled The Champions’ Ballad will come in the Holiday season.
