LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Full Trailer Released

The full trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 shows some classic characters as well as a villain new to the game.

May 23, 2017

Last week publisher Warner Bros and developer TT Games surprised us by announcing that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be releasing this November in a brief teaser trailer. Today, we have a look at the full trailer and some of the characters that will be in the game.

Spider-man fans will be happy to know that the wall crawler returns in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 after being relegated to only DLC in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers. The original Marvel Super Heroes saw Spidey as a focal character, so it will be good to have him swing back into action.

Unlike Marvel’s Avengers which saw us play through various films, Marvel Super Heroes 2 will see a new villain Kang the Conqueror. Time traveling across Chronopolis will be a central point of the game with levels taking place in Sakaar (Thor: Ragnarok), Old West, Ancient Egypt as well as New York City 2099.

Since characters focused around levels have always been part of the humor associated with LEGO games, costumes such as Cowboy Captain America for example will be included as well. Other characters to be featured include classics such as Thor, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin and more.

Although no announcement has been made either way, we can expect some sort of season pass as it’s been standard with the last three games of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

I live in New Jersey with my three children and beautiful wife, who for some reason is cool with me talking about video games as much as I do. I also like asking weird questions, such as what would happen if Pinocchio said "My nose will grow right now?"
