LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Smashes With Big Figure Trailer and Even More Characters
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes came jam packed with surprises yesterday, not only did we get a brand new trailer but it comes with the promise of over 100 characters on the game’s roster. Until recently, the typical cast of characters from the Marvel U have been the only confirmed playable characters. That’s about to all change, as you can see the trailer released profiles not only the “Big Figure” characters (like The Hulk) but reveals plenty of other Marvel characters that will be present in the game.
In addition to all this excitement, it was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that even more playable characters, including Agent Coulson, Magneto, Squirrel Girl, Dr. Doom, Jean Grey, Elektra, Magneto, Silver Samurai, The Punisher, Beast, Gambit, Storm, Green Goblin, Juggernaut, Rhino, the Thing, Vulture, Sabretooth and Invisible Woman. Marvel also confirmed Agent Coulson will appear in the game, voiced by actor Clark Gregg.
Wait…there’s more. Marvel also announced a pre-order exclusive character, Iron Patriot, and confirmed that Deadpool will be playable in the game in a level that will feature Marvel chief creative officer Joe Quesada and Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso. Stan Lee will also be playable in the game. Lee will be able to use the powers of other superheroes, swinging from Lego webs like Spider-Man and transforming into a version of the Hulk with a Lego Stan Lee head.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will offer an original storyline where Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.
The game will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, PC, Nintendo DS, 3DS, Playstation Vita, Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
