LEGO The Hobbit’s First Trailer is Everything we Expect

Traveller’s Tales’ upcoming game, LEGO The Hobbit, is being produced in a similar manner to that of their 2012 outing with LEGO The Lord of the Rings. The game will largely encompass all of the scenes depicted in the movie, with actual dialogue from the film serving as the game’s dialogue. Typical Traveller’s Tales humor and satire will of course be interspersed throughout the game, as depicted in the trailer.

The game’s story will be based on the first two installments of the Peter Jackson-directed film trilogy, including last year’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the recently-released sequel, The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. No word has been given if Traveller’s Tales will be developing an expansion or full standalone game based on the third film.

LEGO The Hobbit is being developed by Traveller’s Tales and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and Mac on unannounced date in Spring 2014. You can check out the trailer below.
