Today, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and developer TT Games announced that LEGO Worlds will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America on February, 21, 2017, and on February 24th in Europe.

First time hearing about LEGO Worlds? Don't worry -- here's a brief elevator pitch courtesy of the game's Steam listing:

LEGO® Worlds is a galaxy of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Explore each World and unlock new discoveries: from cowboys and giraffes to vampires and polar bears, to steamrollers, race cars, and colossal digging machines! Use the multi-tool to shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again. LEGO Worlds enables you to populate your Worlds with many weird and wonderful characters, creatures, models, and driveable vehicles, and then play out your own unique adventures. Probably not worth upsetting the Skeletons though…

David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment added the following to accompany the announcement:

“LEGO® Worlds expands our LEGO® videogame franchise with a new experience that embodies all the fun of physical LEGO® brick building. TT Games has created an expansive, digital universe that combines unlimited creativity with the LEGO® humour that fans love.”

Additionally, Warner Bros. also announced that the game's LEGO Agents DLC pack, that features new characters, vehicles, weapons, and more, will be available first on PS4 and exclusive for 90 days. When this DLC pack will release, wasn't divulged.
