Leifang Released in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation but She's Locked Behind a Paywall

Leifang has been released in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, but if you want a slim chance of unlocking her you better be prepared to pay.

As announced yesterday, DMM and Koei Tecmo released Leifang as a new entry in the roster of the free-to-play PC game Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.

Yet if you were hoping to unlock her as soon as possible, you may want to hold your horses. At the moment the gacha that allows drawing the SSR bikini that unlocks Leifang is accessible only with paid V-stones.

This means that if you want to get her, you need to pull out your credit card. Incidentally, the percentage of actually getting the coveted costume is the usual entirely ludicrous 0.77%. You heard it right: you can pay to try the gacha and every time you have a 0.77% chance to unlock Leifang.

A very small mitigating factor is offered by the fact that after 20 gacha attempts you’ll have accrued the required points to unlock Leifang automatically.

You’re free to do what you like with your bank account but personally, they aren’t seeing a cent from me.

That being said, you can check out Leifang’s intro and trailer below. Unfortunately, we don’t know when she will be included in the non-paid gachas, if she ever will.  A free version of unlocking the previously-introduced character Tamaki was never added after her release on April 12th, so your guess is as good as mine.

If you want to play the game on your own PC (it’s only in Japanese but it’s fairly easy to understand) you can learn how to in our handy guide. Incidentally, if you hope to see the game’s new girls appear in Dead or Alive 6, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath. That being said, this goes only for the original characters, so Leifang still has a chance of making it into the roster.
