At the start of last month, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment announced that its long-awaited free-to-play title Let It Die had reached over a million downloads. Today, the publisher announced that action-brawler has since doubled that number, and has surpassed 2 million downloads.

The free-to-play PS4 exclusive game launched back on December 3, 2016 during PSX 2016 in North America and Europe, before coming to Japan on February 2nd, where it cost approximately $1 USD in order to ensure that users who downloaded the game were old enough to have access to some cash flow, due to its 18+ rating.

Let It Die was first unveiled to the world at E3 2014 during Sony’s press conference as a PS4-exclusive and a hyper-violent hack-and-slash action game with roguelike elements. The game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture.
