Today, developer Three Fields Entertainment — creators of Burnout, BLACK, and Dangerous Golf -- and publisher Team17 announced that Lethal VR is set to release for PlayStation VR on December 20th at the price point of $14.99 USD.
Lethal VR is "an immersive virtual reality weapons experience," where you step into the shoes of an FBI recruit, and are tested in over 30 weapons based simulation exercises. Upon the completion of each challenge, you will be rewarded a grade based on your performance.
The following features are highlighted by Three Fields:
- Over 30 missions to complete and master
- A wide variety of exciting weapons including handguns, throwing knives, dual handguns, experimental weapons and a rather deadly hat!
- Local leaderboards to track the best players among friends and family
- 14 trophies to unlock
Upon release, Lethal VR will be discounted 20 percent as part of a special launch promotion. How long this promotion will last, wasn't divulged. As of right now, it will only be available digitally.
