Sony is kicking Valkyria Chornicles 3 marketing into high gear in Japan, leading up to its January 27, 2011, release date. They've released a commercial to air on TV over there, which features nary a game play clip. Of course, advertising the game on television is a lot different than advertising it to gamers themselves, so they have to focus on the game's story scenes and the theme song, which is "Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara", by May'n.

Also released by Sega is another video for the game - still with no game play - which focuses on one of the game's main characters, Kurt Irving. What I find interesting about this is that much of the game's actual text, as well as the character's name, is very American, even in the Japanese version of the game. This may have been the case with previous titles and I haven't noticed until now, but it is still a rather interesting point. But, enough talk, check out the two videos after the break.
