LG is breaking into the gaming market with their new high-performance UltraGear gaming monitor by hosting a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Open Bracket. Players have the chance to try out LG's newest gaming monitors, the LG UltraGear line, as well as an opportunity to face off against members of the FaZe Clan.

Though the company isn't known for its gaming monitors, they've taken over DreamHack Atlanta as a means of making an entrance. Walking past their booth–which is located smack-dab in the middle of the event–it's hard to ignore the spectrum lighting emitting off the back of each monitor, or the sharp and massive picture being produced.

Their flagship model features a 21:9 display which, of course, is curved. It has thin bezzles which outline the 34-inch Nano IPS display which is capable of covering 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space at 1440p.

The monitor also features Nvidia G-Sync as well as a 120Hz overclocked refresh rate to ensure that all games are rendered as smoothly as possible.

That's important in PUBG where recognizing the silhouette of an enemy is the difference between life and death, and in this case, meeting FaZe Mxey, FuzzFace, Dirty, and Teeqo.

The Grand Prize is an "ultimate gaming package" featuring the new LG UltraGear monitor.

The LG UltraGear monitor costs $1399.99. There are ways to get it cheaper though (outside of competing against FaZe).

Fans in attendance at DreamHack Atlanta have access to a $200-off coupon code which can be found at their booth. In addition, the monitor will be discounted down to $1199.99 for Black Friday on Amazon.
