Today Nippon Ichi Software released the latest trailer of its upcoming game Liar Princess and the Blind Prince.

The trailer basically tells the story of the game, as usual illustrated with its peculiar art style that is a charming mixture of cute and creepy.

We get to see how the monstrous wolf with a beautiful singing voice meets the prince, and ends up mistakenly blinding him, only to try to release him from captivity to make up for its mistakes. All the while, it “lies” to the prince by pretending to be a princess of a nearby kingdom.

Since it’s in Japanese, you can check out the full story here, while you watch the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can check out another recent trailer, and another revealing the theme song performed by Akiko Shikata of Ar Tonelico fame.

Liar Princess and the Blind Prince releases in Japan on May 31st, 2018 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PS Vita. No western release has been announced for now.
