Yesterday, Nippon Ichi Software revealed the first screenshots and artwork of the upcoming game Usotsuki Hime to Moumoku Ouji, which translates as Liar Princess and the Blind Princeand today they're going a step further by revealing the first trailer.

The video showcases mostly the story, which is a fairly tragic tale of a monstrous wolf  which asks a witch to be turned into a princess in order to be with a young prince that the monster itself has blinded.  We also see some gameplay, that prompts the player to alternate between monster and princess form, using the former's physical strength and the latter's smaller size and ability to lead the prince around.

This is all topped by a peculiar but charming art style, which you can see in the trailer below.

Liar Princess and the Blind Prince releases in Japan on May 31st, 2018 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PS Vita. No western release has been announced for now.
