‘Life Is Strange 2 Episode 1’ and ‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ Glide Onto Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass has acquired two more titles to their ever-growing library with Life Is Strange 2 Episode 1 and ARK: Survival Evolved being added

As we head into yet another New Year we want to know what games are in store for us, right? Stuff this diet jazz or pointless resolutions that we all know will never happen – games, that’s all we need. I’ve got your back gamers or well, Xbox do but still, here’s what’s available on Xbox Games Pass right now that’ll keep you going over dreary January. You’re welcome.

If you didn’t get the chance to play the first episode of Life Is Strange 2 – that released almost four months ago – before the second episode of the season launches on January 24 ,then here’s your chance as you can play it on January 3 on Xbox Game Pass so you’re ahead of the game, so to speak.

ARK: Survival Evolved has also made itself comfortable as it nestles into Xbox Game Pass on January 3 with a lot of other titles like The Gardens Between, Mutant Year Zero, and Strange Brigade that launched on November 29. Publisher and developer Studio Wildcard announced in November the release of Ark: Survival Evolved for the ever-versatile Nintendo Switch so you can take your adventures on the go, but it’s also available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, and PC.

Here’s a few other January titles that have made their way on Xbox Game Pass:

  • Farming Simulator 17 – (January 3) Fire up your tractor and get to work on crops and livestock as you build up your farm as you live out the live of a hard-working farmer. If you enjoy the game, you can always purchase the Farming Simulator 17: Platinum Edition that launched November 14 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and digitally for PC.
  • Absolver – (January 7) If you see yourself as a bit of a martial arts expert, then this could be the game for you to try out. Absolver is a multiplayer action role-playing title that sees players battle others online and a recent new update saw new fighting styles, challenges, and masks brought to the game.
  • Just Cause 3 – (January 10)Rico Rodriguez causes chaos yet again in this open world adventure title that’s packed with funny moments and explosions galore. A good place to start if you haven’t yet played Just Cause 4.
  • Aftercharge – (January 10) This spacey online 3 vs 3 competitive game with none other than robots by Chainsawesome Games sees you either on the attacking side or the defending side.

If you’re new to Xbox Game Pass, you can kick-start your 2019 membership off for only $1 for the first month and then it will cost you $9.99 a month, or $59.99 for six months – the choice is yours, but there are plenty of pretty big titles as well as indie games to choose from.

You can also check out our review on Life Is Strange 2 episode 1 – On the road for further insight and information on this title, but you won’t be disappointed as it really is a cracking game that I can’t wait until later this month to see what happens next with the Diaz brothers.
