Life is Strange: Before the Storm Gameplay Unveiled During E3 2017

Life is Strange: Before the Storm's gameplay unveiled in nearly 20 minutes of raw footage.

June 13, 2017

Sunday during Microsoft’s E3 2017 presser, Life is Strange: Before the Storm was announced.

A prequel to Life is Strange — aka not Life is Strange 2 — Life is Strange: Before the Storm is notably being developed by Deck Nine Games and not by Dontnod Entertainment (who developed Life is Strange and who are developing Life is Strange 2).

Life is Strange: Before the Storm features Chloe Price a 16 year-old rebel who forms and unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber, a girl who is equally beautiful and popular. And when Rachel’s world is turned upside down by a family secret it takes the two and their newly formed alliance to give each other the strength to overcome their personal demons.

That being said, today, following up the above-mentioned announcement trailer, gameplay has been unveiled for the first time in the form of a whopping 19 minutes plus of footage, which you can check out for yourself at the bottom of the article.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with the first of three episodes scheduled to hit on August 31st. In case you missed it, yesterday, it was revealed  that the voice actress of Chloe, Ashley Burch, will also not be reprising her role for the game.
