Publisher Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange voice actors Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle -- who played the two lead characters Chloe and Max, respectively -- will be reprising their roles for Life is Strange: Before the Storm's "bonus" episode called "Farewell," which will be available in the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Specifically, Square explained that the bonus episode for Before the Storm is currently planned to arrive in early 2018, and that the team "were thrilled to hear the news that both Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch were able to come back together again to voice Max and Chloe." Square also added that Rhianna DeVries -- who currently is voicing Chloe in Before the Storm's core episodes -- will "continue to work closely with us" primarily on the motion capture of Chloe for the episode.

Notably, this announcement comes to light after the previous fact that Burch was unable to come back to voice Chloe in Before the Storm due to the (at the time) ongoing negotiations happening between the studio and the SAG-AFTRA strike that was seeking to improve conditions for voice actors in the games industry. Burch, however, stayed on to assist developer Deck Nine as a consultant with writing the story.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with one more episode of the season remaining before the upcoming "Farewell" bonus episode.
