Back in 2015, Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix released Life is Strange, an episodic narrative-driven game focusing on a girl named Max who gets the power to manipulate time. Today, they revealed that game would finally be coming to iOS devices, specifically the iPhone and iPad. Episodes 1-3 of the series will drop later this week on December 14, while Episode 4 and Episode 5 will come out in Q1 2018.

The mobile port of the game is being developed with the help of Black Wing Foundation. The game is still completely powered by Unreal Engine 4 and includes features like full touch screen integration, the ability to share game progress on social media directly from the app and an in-game photo mode. Purchasing the game will also unlock unique Life is Strange themed iMessage Stickers.

The developers hope that the iOS version of Life is Strange will set "a new benchmark for the adventure genre on mobile." Oskar Guilbert, CEO at Dontnod Entertainment, had the following to say about finally bringing Life is Strange to mobile devices:

"Everyone here at Dontnod is really excited to share the adventures of Max and Chloe in Life is Strange with a new audience on mobile. We welcome new players to Arcadia Bay’s community and look forward to discovering the story choices that they make during their stay."
