Limited Run Games Teases Upcoming Physical Release of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee in February

Limited Run Games is partnering up again with Oddworld Inhabitants for an upcoming release of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee next month.

The cult classic Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee brought fans of the Oddworld series one of its most unusual installments yet by taking the action into a 3D world, and now those looking to either relive the game or experience for the first time might have a new chance thanks to Limited Run Games.

Developer Oddworld Inhabitants and Limited Run Games have released that an upcoming new (and presumably) physical release of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will be coming in February in the retailer’s typical limited pressing fashion, giving a new release for the 17-year-old title.

However, the platforms specified for the release were not yet announced by either Oddworld Inhabitants, which could make for an interesting reveal depending on which platforms Limited Run Games will publish the game for. Originally released on the first Xbox in 2001, the game later made appearances on GBA, PC, PS3, PS Vita, iOS, Android, and Mac – judging by those options, PC and PS Vita physical versions of the game seem the most likely, but we’ll have to wait and see whether the game might make the jump to other platforms or not.

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will get the physical treatment in February from Limited Run Games, but stay tuned for more details as it gets closer.
