During today's Gamescom Opening Night Live stream, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed that 2017's Little Nightmares will be getting a sequel.

The obviously-titled Little Nightmares 2 is now indeed real, and it'll be launching next year in 2020. No further information on the release window within the year was given, but it will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC when it arrives.

Little Nightmares 2 will put you in the shoes of a new character this time around who seems to be wearing a paper bag over their head. Six, the protagonist from the first game, will also be returning this time around and can be seen in the game's reveal trailer. The brief footage that we have seen so far seems to be just as haunting and eerie as the first title.

Below you can check out the debut trailer from Little Nightmares 2 if you're interested. Hopefully, we'll learn more about this sequel sooner rather than later.
