Today Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots of its upcoming anime game Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time.
This time around, the images come directly from Bandai Namco Entertainment America, so they're actually localized in English, giving us a glimpse of what we'll be able to play soon.
The screenshots focus on the story and on the playable characters, which will include Akko, Sucy, Lotte, Amanda, Jasminka, Constanze, and Diana.
If you're unfamiliar with the story, which is inspired by the popular anime of the same title, you can read a quick blurb below, directly from the press release by the publisher.
"As the school year at Luna Nova Witch Academy approaches the end and summer vacation looms, little witch Atsuko Kagari (Aka Akko) finds herself getting into trouble again. As punishment, Akko is sentenced to clean the library where she finds a concealed chamber behind a bookshelf. When she enters the chamber and fights her way out of a dungeon, Akko notices the days are repeating and realizes it has to do with the mysterious chamber. It’s now up to her and her friends to unlock the secrets of the chamber and set things back to normal."
You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also watch some recent gameplay, a trailer from last year, plenty of gameplay from a previous livestream, another trailer from a few weeks ago, a batch of screenshots, some more recent gameplay videos, another gameplay trailer with English subtitles, one more trailer and gameplay video, and the first English trailer.
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time launched in Japan on November 30th, 2017 exclusively for PS4, and will come to the west in early 2018, getting a PC version on top of the one for Sony’s console. It's worth mentioning that despite recent rumors, the press release clarifies that the final western release date is still undecided.
