Halloween is just a few days away and several games are getting in the spirit of the holiday from the likes of Until DawnDestiny, and now Grand Theft Auto Online is bringing its own tricks and treats for the holiday over the next few weeks.

Rockstar Games detailed in a new blog post that the "Halloween Surprise" update will be coming to Grand Theft Auto Online, with the new to be available now through November 16th and bringing in plenty of spooky surprises to Los Santos.

Specifically, Rockstar revealed that the Halloween-themed update will bring two new vehicles (the Lurcher Hearse and Franken Stange), new masks and face paints, and a brand new multiplayer game mode called the "Slasher Adversary Mode," where up to eight players will run, hide, and fight against the "Slasher" player seeking to kill them off as painfully as possible.

In addition to the new content, Rockstar Games will also be hosting a special livestream on Friday, October 30th at 5pm ET with the Rockstar Broadcast team "and special guests to be announced" to coincide with the launch of the Halloween festivities.

Grand Theft Auto V is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC - you can check out several screenshots of the new "Halloween Surprise" update below:
