Lost Ark is all set to receive an all-new weekly update today, and the game's servers will be down for scheduled maintenance before the patch deploys.
The update will be released across all platforms on August 17th at 12 AM PT / 7 AM UTC / 9 AM CEST. As usual, maintenance is expected to last four hours, and players will not be able to play online during the course of the maintenance. While the developers have added that it will be finished within four hours, we have witnessed the maintenance getting extended beyond that. If the maintenance is extended due to any reason, we will update the article to reflect the same. This week's update is just regular maintenance, and there are no changes that are being made to the game. Ideally, we see a few bugs getting fixed or some features added to the game, but that is not the case for this week's update. While fans are always curious to know what each update adds, the absence of any changes in this update could mean that the developers are gearing up for the launch of the August update.
As far as the August update goes, it is not that big as compared to the ones we have received previously. There are only two features coming as part of the update, Pet Ranch and the Maharaka Festival.
