Today developer Odd Bug Studio and publisher Fabrik Games announced that their upcoming 2D VR platformer The Lost Bear will be arriving on PlayStation VR in both North America and Europe on August 31st, 2017.

In addition to the announcement of the release date, some brand new screenshots, as well as an original piece of concept art of the game were also revealed. You can check them out at the end of the article.

The Lost Bear is a platforming game with a unique, hand-drawn art style. During your journey you'll play as Walnut, who is exploring a mysterious land, and solving puzzles in an effort to find the Snatcher, a fiend who has been stealing toys from around the world. While the game is a 2D platformer by heart, it will be completely playable in VR, thanks to a 3D environment.

The Lost Bear was originally announced back in July, with a reveal trailer accompanying the announcement.

The Lost Bear is set to cost $12.99/€9.99/£9.99. As of the time of this writing, it is unknown whether or not the game will be released for other VR devices.
